The La Manga Strip is a short drive and has a host of restaurants and bars and the nearby fishing village of Cabo de Palos boasts some of the best fish restaurants in the area. Further afield, the regional capital of Murcia is about 30 minutes drive and has a host of fine buildings and shops. A 15 minute drive South is the old port city of Cartagena which has a good array of shops and old buildings even a Roman Amphitheatre
