Pinar
de Campoverde is located in a very tranquil setting and gives access
to all that the popular Costa Blanca has to offer. Only 8 kilometres
inland from the stunning Blue Flag beaches along the Southern Costa
Blanca, Pinar de Campoverde is a peaceful village, nestled on a
hillside amongst pine forests, with views towards the Mediterranean.
The village has the facilities needed for everyday living: supermarkets,
banks, bars and restaurants, shops, and a small street market on
Sunday mornings.
On one side of the village is the well-known geographical feature
of the Rio Seca. This spectacular gorge was once a fast flowing
river - you can walk along the dried up river-bed and enjoy the
sights of the Rio Seca Nature Reserve. Near to Rio Seca in Pilar
de la Horadada is a fantastic new sports centre with numerous tennis
and basketball courts, football pitches, and a large public swimming
pool.
For golf enthusiasts there are several golf courses nearby including
La Finca, La Manga, Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin.
San Javier airport is only a 20 minute car journey away from Santiago
de la Ribera and about 50 minutes from Alicante airport.
